Which provider do you use?
We primarily use DigitalOcean, but we can use a provider of your choice upon request.
Are you ISO 27001 certified?
Yes, we are ISO 27001 & TISAX certified. You can download a copy of our ISO 27001 certificate here.

We are based in the Netherlands
Is GitLabHost part of GitLab?
No, we’re a separate company, but we are a GitLab Select Partner. We provide GitLab hosting services and are not owned or operated by GitLab Inc. or any of its affiliates.

Is it possible to use a Dutch provider?
Yes, if you're in need of supplier chain that is based in the Netherlands for 100%, we can use a Dutch provider like TransIP.
Which hosting locations are supported?
You can set up an instance in any continent and GitLabHost provides support for the following specific locations: Amsterdam, London, Frankfurt, Bangalore, Singapore, Toronto, New York City and San Francisco.
Can you periodically send a backup to our own AWS S3-bucket?
Yes, we can send you a weekly or monthly backup to your own AWS S3-bucket. Just open a ticket with our support and we will get this sorted. Please don't send the credentials via email.
How do backups work?
We create nightly incremental backups, encrypt them and store them at an off-site location in The Netherlands. Please get in touch with support if you want us to restore a backup.

Can we get SSH access?
Yes, we provide SSH access to perform Git operations. Use our control panel to manage your instance.
Can we use all of the GitLab features?
Certainly! We support all GitLab features, including the latest.
Do you also provide support?
Basic support is included in all of our hosting plans. Additional support can be arranged on a contract or project basis. Feel free to contact us about your specific needs and we’ll give you a good estimate.
Do you provide regular updates?
We certainly do. Because we offer a fully managed service, updates are included.
Do I need a GitLab license to use your service?
No, even though it is possible to get a GitLab license through GitLabHost (we are a Select Partner), it’s not required. You can use both GitLab Core and GitLab Enterprise.
Can you also provide GitLab licenses?
Definitely! We’re an official GitLab reseller, so we can take care of all the licenses for you.
Which payment method can I use?
You can pay with credit card, iDeal or manual bank transfer.
Do you sell monthly, yearly or multi-yearly contracts?
All of them! You can choose to pay either only monthly base (GitLab licenses excluded), yearly base or multi-yearly base. We provide a discount for multi-yearly contracts.
